"My husband, dog and I had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Empty Hill. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is an incredible property. Tim and Nancy put endless detail into the space and many thoughtful touches throughout. Inside you’ll find an extremely clean, cozy, bug free and comfortable space. There is everything you could need to feel like home in the kitchen, we had no problem cooking several meals during our stay. There are plenty of games to play, and all the amenities you could ask for. Outside you’ll find TONS of toys and activities. This yard is HUGE and very secluded - making it perfect for our dog to run and play. We were able to drink coffee each morning out on the dock and take the kayaks out as well. During our stay, we saw several deer, tons of ducks, geese, as well as a variety of birds and critters. We were extremely (pleasantly) surprised at the lack of bugs, having made it 4 days with only 1 mosquito bite and zero ticks. I’m not sure if they treat the property, but we were so relieved to not have to deal with bugs! The owner stopped by to fill the bird feeder and water the plants and was an incredibly kind guy - even showed us that we could use the golf cart. We can’t say enough about this place and hope to be back soon."

"My dad lived on Lake Ozark and it was his absolute favorite place in the world. Island 1 & 2 was the perfect place to celebrate his life and his love for the lake. Nancy was beyond wonderful, helpful and accommodating. We had 35 family members traveling from all across the country and Nancy even helped find even more housing for the family that did not stay at the Islands. The houses were clean and roomy, each person had a bed to sleep in. There was a living area with beautiful views and the perfect place to have our buffet and later play games. We spent much of our time outside on the incredible multi-level patio -Smugglers Den catching up and enjoying the cool fall weather & wonderful view of the Lake. We fished and swam off the deck, had a big bonfire and enjoyed our own fireworks. We also rented an incredible pontoon boat from Nancy so we could enjoy the lake. It was very large and allowed many of the family members to all be together to visit our favorite places on the lake including my dad’s old home. This is the perfect location for anyone traveling together in a group or for several families. Nancy is the perfect person to help your trip come off without a hitch! Thank you Nancy!!! You will always hold a place in our family’s heart."

"This was the second time we have stayed at this location. First time was 3 years ago. The group loved all the updates to the inside and outside. The pool was a hit. It kept the younger kids very entertained, so the adults could relax. The outdoor deck with firepit, outside kitchen/bar was used many times. Suggestions: Have a guest supply list of what they should bring. EX: Paper towels, laundry soap, trash bags, broom/dust pan Have someone check in with group, 1-2 days after checking in to see if you need anything or just have questions. Great stay, would do it again. Thanks!"

"What a beautiful property that is an ideal getaway. Very private and surrounded by nature at its best. We were fortunate to watch a Golden Eagle catch a fish and bring it to the tree in front of the house to eat it! Hummingbirds love to come and visit this home with feeders for them outside. The landscaping was lovely. I loved the outdoor plants. Very nice and comfy furniture and it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The property owners are very pleasant to work with and we absolutely loved our stay. We would hope to return again and again."

"Amazing house to stay at for a big group! We used it for a friends trip to get everyone together at the lake and had a blast. The house has even more amenities than listed, such as a deep fryer outside with the grill, indoor and outdoor sound system, and tons of pool toys/floaties! We can’t wait to stay again in future summers! The only downfall was that there were no basics such as condiments in the fridge but otherwise, we have NO complaints. I even left clothing there on accident and they shipped it all to me THE SAME DAY, incredible customer service and response time. 10/10 would recommend."
