My husband, dog and I had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Empty Hill. The pictures do not do this place justice, it is an incredible property. Tim and Nancy put endless detail into the space and many thoughtful touches throughout. Inside you’ll find an extremely clean, cozy, bug free and comfortable space. There is everything you could need to feel like home in the kitchen, we had no problem cooking several meals during our stay. There are plenty of games to play, and all the amenities you could ask for. Outside you’ll find TONS of toys and activities. This yard is HUGE and very secluded – making it perfect for our dog to run and play. We were able to drink coffee each morning out on the dock and take the kayaks out as well. During our stay, we saw several deer, tons of ducks, geese, as well as a variety of birds and critters. We were extremely (pleasantly) surprised at the lack of bugs, having made it 4 days with only 1 mosquito bite and zero ticks. I’m not sure if they treat the property, but we were so relieved to not have to deal with bugs! The owner stopped by to fill the bird feeder and water the plants and was an incredibly kind guy – even showed us that we could use the golf cart. We can’t say enough about this place and hope to be back soon 🙂
